Hebert 503

July 7, 2017

ABBI# 10033231

Sire: Automatic (Spook)

Dam: -Y Nosie Rosie

Original Breeder: Mark and Cody Hebert

Hebert 503 is a daughter of the great Automatic and also a full sister to PBR Finals Bull California Dreaming. She has been a knockout cow for the H2 brand with producing bulls that buck and daughters that produce. 104 Jump Street of Hebert's is a 503 son that has been featured in some PBR BFTS short rounds. Another son of hers that has been a solid bull on the PBR level is U48 Home Wrecker of Chad Berger's carrying a solid Pro Bull Stats average marking of 21.16. U49 Mudshark of Chad Drury's is also a son of this great cow. Mudshark was a solid rodeo bull, but he has really shined with his sire power. Just in his first calf crop for the Nothing But Try Ranch, he produced multiple futurity money winners.

Hebert 503 has two daughters that are old enough to have bulls old enough to buck. Page U3 is one of them and she is the dam to the 2014 ABBI Finals Lifetime Derby Champion, 64Y Slash. Slash was a great cometetion bull with $48,705.02 in career earnings. 83A Cartridge is another son of Page U83 with a PBS average of 21. Another daughter of the great 503 cow is Hebert 802. She is the dam to 134 Ripslinger also hailed by Hebert with a 20.9 PBS average.

It's safe to say this Hebert 503 produces bulls that buck and daughters that produce. These kind of cows it what everyone wants on their place!

High 617 Bear Knuckles

August 22, 2017

ABBI# 10072553

Sire: X33 Boudini (Houdini)

Dam: High 407 Spotted Grizzley

Original Breeder: Lorne High

Bj and Tara Tolman originally purchased 942 American Gangster from Lorne High in Canada. They were hauling him during his 3 and 4 year old competition years. American Gangster was a top ABBI Classic contender until he suffered a career ending injury. "After being around 942 awhile I thought something special about him was his mind. So I went back to Lorne and purchased him dam, cow 617."

High 617 would not live breed so we flushed her to create full siblings to American Gangster. We got one bull and two heifers. That bull ended up being X63 that was just sold to PRCA stock contractor Tim Birdwell.

We then flushed her to 20U Shepard Hills Tested and there was one bull out of that flush that was made as good as you could want one to be made and sure enough acted the part. That bull is X64 Testified. "In my opinion he bucks as hard as any young bull going. We think his best days are still ahead of him. He won the 2016 Locust Grove ABBI Limited Futurity as we didn't haul him much with a dummy. He was growing very fast and thought he would make a better rider bull. He has placed at the few Derby events we have hauled him to. The thing we are most excited about is X64 as a sire with his bucking ability and pedigree. We believe he should work over our cows!

High 617 daughters are still young but have already produced some nice young bulls that Bj and Tara are very high on showing a lot of potential. We have more flush plans for what feel is the great cow, High 617. Be on the lookout in years to come with more calves out of her!

CO W12

October 10, 2017

ABBI# 10091463

Sire: 53 Surefire (36 Backlash)

Dam: Page 10-120 (Shorty)

Original Breeder: Cliff Wiggins

Cheyenne Owens and CO Cattle Company have an outstanding set of Page bred females. He has raised buckers from NFR and PBR Finals bulls to futurity champions. There is multiple cows that don't miss year after year on the CO Ranch, but one of the favorites is W12. Cheyenne had the opportunity to buy some cows from Cliff Wiggins years ago and it paid off. In that group of cows was W12. She is sired by PBRF bull 53 Surefire and out of the prestigious Page 10-120 cow, the dam to Classic Champion Crosswired. With both 10-120 and 201-170 cows in her pedigree she was bound to produce.

W12's first bull calf was a good looking black baldy, 12A Tuggco. He was sired by 16 Lil Slinger and bucked from day one. He went on to win $50,000 at the Gold Standard Futurity. A couple months later he went on to win second at the American Heritage to bring home another big check! Cheyenne thought enough of W12 to flush her to PBR and PRCA Bull of The Year, 32Y Bruiser. After all the embryos were put in, they ended up with one bull and one heifer of this cross. E13 (Bruiser x W12) was probable the best looking bull on the place as a calf. In his young career he has a second place finish at an open futurity as well as over $3,000 in ABBI earnings. Her next bull calf was a live bred calf by PBR Finals bull 602A In Like Flynn. 46E (602A x W12) was sold in the CO Cattle Production Sale to Joe and Nina Webb/Brandon Stewart. When you talk about an impressive young bull, 46E has it all. He has a total of almost $8,000 in ABBI earnings as well winning money at several open events.

When we talk about great cows, CO W12 has to be ranked towards the top. With four bull calves registered to her, and three of them being futurity champions and money earners is pretty impressive. The best of her two youngest sons are yet to come.

CO Cattle and Cheyenne Owens will have heifers and females available this fall. If you are wanting to add some great Page genetics with production as mentioned in this story, don't hesitate to contact Cheyenne!
